Results
We are very excited about the results of this study! We will be presenting a summary of results at the 2019 AFTE Meeting in Nashville! We are also submitting our results for journal publication. VCMERS participants will receive a link at which they can access their own submissions and the overall study results. Stay tuned!
What's Next?
Based on the successful results of the VCMER Study we will be running another study in 2019. This follow-up study will examine the effects of scanning resolution on the ability to reach source conclusions. The study is open to all firearms examiners both within the United States and around the world. Participants will remain anonymous. There is no compensation for participation. If requested, we can provide a letter indicating your participation.
